The scene from The One Where Joey Moves Out, shows Chandler and Joey in a bitter spat over their living arrangement – forcing the latter to move.

His decision to move came after he began to grow increasingly successful in his job on Days Of Our Lives and a spat with Chandler over his ‘disgusting’ living habits – such as licking spoons and returning them to a drawer.

While the duo lock horns for much of the episode, the scene in question sees them resolving their issues and voicing their love for one another. Joey states: ‘So listen, I don’t know when I’m going to see you again’.

In his typical style, Chandler quips: ‘Well I’m guessing tonight at the coffee house’.

As they both nod and laugh, Joey says: ‘Take care’ before closing the door – only to burst in again and hug his best friend, who smiles and rests his arm on Joey’s arm.

A synopsis of the heartbreaking scene reads: ‘Eventually, Chandler accepts that Joey’s really moving out. Joey leaves the foosball table to Chandler…

‘The guys help Joey with his stuff on his way out. Joey comes back because he forgot something – a meaningful hug with Chandler….

‘Joey has to leave, and Chandler makes his way to his room. Apart from the missing new furniture, the place looks exactly like before, but something feels broken and gloomy about it.’
