It comes after video of an attack on a 20-year-old female passenger circulated online showing her being beaten by two thugs.

In the video, she screamed as she was punched in the face twice by one attacker and hit by the other, before she was dragged along the carriage by her hair and thrown to the carriage floor.

In the shocking footage, the victim can be heard crying out for someone to come to her aid, begging ‘please help me’.

The video showed how a man came and intervened while another passenger filmed the attack on their mobile phone.

The victim was able to flee the carriage at 10.10pm on Sunday October 29. She later required hospital treatment for her injuries.
